It has been the most amazing 6 years, but the time has come for Hour13 to call it quits. We have met some of the coolest people, played some of the coolest stages, and risen to a level we never thought possible when we began as two drunks playing guitars in an old farm house. There are no words on the screen to describe how grateful we are to our family/friends/fans for literally making our dreams come true. Without our army of support, we would have never been granted the opportunities we had. We truly want to thank everyone for their dedicated support. You literally placed each opportunity into our hands, and kept them coming. We’ve had a lot of questions, so I’ll now try to do my best to answer the main inquiries that have come up. The album release is still scheduled for April 1st, 2014. However, we will not be scheduling any performances so the album won’t really be sold. If you are a Kickstarter Supporter, we have you covered. The albums we promised, along with the other rewards, will be shipped the week before our album release date. We will be producing a single run of the new album based off of album pre-sales. What this means? If you’d like a physical copy of our new album “Flies”, you’ll have to pre-order it at https://squareup.com/market/hour13 . Pre-order cut-off date will be in 10 days, aka Saturday March 8th. Due to costs we are only producing enough copies of the album to fulfill pre-order purchases. It would be foolish to order a bunch of extra copies that we won’t be able to peddle at shows since we won’t be playing anymore. The digital album WILL be made available on Itunes, but a physical copy of the album will not be available again. If you want it, get it now through the pre-order process. If you don’t, you owe us nothing. We couldn’t be more appreciative of what our fans have already done for us and that made the whole experience amazing. That being said, we’d like to offer one last idea. I’d like you all to check out our newest single, “Nomad.” We are considering filming a music video for “Nomad”. The video idea would include a big party with a bonfire, truck bed hot tubs, mud wrestling, motorcycles, and basically anything redneck rock. It would be a cool way to bring everybody together one last time and say goodbye. However, we’ve kind of fallen off the face of the earth since we shifted full focus to the studio. We need to know the interest is still there before we dedicate the time/effort/planning to a music video. If we reach 100 pre-orders for the new album we will pursue the idea. If we don’t, it’s all gravy! We still want to wish you all the best and thank you for your loyal support and love. Finally, we truly want to thank everyone sincerely for every tiny thing that was ever done for us. Each head nod, each merchandise purchase, each opportunity presented, and each drink that was gifted to us on stage really made us feel like rock stars. We must mention a few people specifically. Please don’t feel left out if you aren’t on this small list. I simply don’t have all day to list every amazing person! So in closing let us say thank you from the bottom of our hearts for making this incredible journey possible. We will miss you all, we will miss the stage, and we will miss getting rowdy afterwards. We wish you the best, hope you’ll do the same for us, and bid everyone farewell.
